Illuminations Lighting
In most houses lighting is utilitarian. For Illuminations
Lighting Design, it’s theater. The mood in a Broadway play or movie
is determined by how the set is illuminated. It is no coincidence
that professional theatrical lighting design experience is among
Illuminations’ assets. By giving homeowners control of mood with
the push of a button, a complex process becomes effortless.
Illuminations developed into Texas’ first full-service specialty
lighting firm by producing a fusion of ideas, science and art that
began to change the way people see and experience their homes.
Illuminations works with architects, custom builders and homeowners
by providing professional assistance, from consulting and designing,
to furnishing and installing the most dependable equipment.
Illuminations also provides construction wiring in new and existing
houses to accommodate today’s growing power needs.

THE PHILPAINT PHILOSOPHY
Every business is
guided by a set of principles which determines its actions and
attitudes towards customers, vendors, and employees. Those
principles may be implicit or explicit, they may be consistent or a
mishmash of contradictions. In either case, they serve as the
foundation for everything the company does.
In some ways, the Philpaint philosophy is
very simple: offer consumers a professional, quality service. But
there is much more to this philosophy than may be immediately
apparent.
We are a service company, and the nature
of the services we offer can cause disruption and inconvenience in
the lives of our customers. Often, we must be at, or in, a home for
a week or longer, and the areas in which we are working may be
inaccessible or unusable for several days.
Therefore, it is imperative that we make
the experience as convenient and hassle free as possible. This
includes informing the customer of the time and procedures required
to complete the work, leaving the work area clean at the end of each
day, arriving promptly, and performing the work in a professional
manner.
These steps alone can eliminate many
potential problems. But there is much more to operating a
professional service company. Providing easy contact during normal
business hours, providing written estimates and specifications for
the work to be performed, providing payment options, and addressing
customer concerns are equally important.
Continually studying and testing new
products, materials, and equipment allows us to offer and recommend
the best solutions to each situation, as well as offer our customers
the information they need to make informed decisions.
More than anything, it is this attitude
which distinguishes Philpaint from our competitors. We do not
attempt to "do it all", nor do we offer the lowest prices. What we
do offer is quality service, delivered in a competent, professional
manner. And when mistakes do occur, we stand behind our work, take
responsibility for our actions and strive to courteously provide the
satisfaction we promise.
From our inception, we have listened to
our customers. We have attempted to identify their complaints
regarding other contractors, and diligently sought to avoid
repeating those mistakes. The most common complaints about other
contractors do not regard the quality of their work (though this is
certainly a frequent complaint), but rather, such intangibles as not
keeping appointments or not returning phone calls.
We recognize that our customers’ time is
valuable, and that there is no excuse for unprofessional conduct.
Unfortunately, the painting industry is infamous for such conduct.
However, we believe that consumers should expect and demand
more.
